The short version
Indians search for paperwork first and evidence last. Across the five intent clusters we studied (about 5.0 million searches a month in total), registration terms take 82%, funding 6.6%, starting a business 5.8%, business ideas 4.1% and research and feasibility just 1.4%. Most founders register and borrow before they test whether customers will pay. That is the gap this article helps you close.

2. Econometrics: does a bigger audience mean costlier clicks?
Advertisers assume that popular keywords cost more. We tested this with an ordinary least squares (OLS) log-log regression on 23 distinct Indian search terms, using the midpoint of Google’s top-of-page CPC range (USD):

Standard error of the slope 0.21, t = 0.14, R² = 0.001, n = 23.
Reading it: the elasticity of CPC with respect to volume is about 0.03 and statistically indistinguishable from zero. Search volume explains almost none of the price of a click. What does matter is commercial intent: “business plan” (top of page up to $1.50) and “proposed business” (up to $1.16) cost far more than “udyam certificate download” (up to $0.03), even though a download is a high-volume term. People who want a document pay little; people who want to build something attract advertisers. Caveat: 23 observations and ranges rather than actual bids, so treat it as a signal, not a law.
3. Worked example (illustrative numbers): borrowing ₹5 lakh
The figures below are assumptions chosen to show the method, not market data and not an offer. Replace them with your own. Compare schemes first: MUDRA vs PMEGP, and how rate moves hurt you: what the repo rate means for your loan.

Fixed cost = ₹40,000 + EMI = ₹56,488
Price ₹250, variable cost ₹130
Q* = 56,488 / (250 − 130) = ≈ 471 units a month (about ₹1.18 lakh revenue)
If demand elasticity e = −2, profit-maximising price = MC·e/(1+e) = 130 × (−2)/(−1) = ₹260
